Overview

If small boats are not for you, set sail on the Mediterranean waters off Malta aboard a large and spacious catamaran. You’ll stop at two or three prime locations for swimming and snorkeling, including Malta’s most famous swimming spot, the Blue Lagoon where the boat will moor in a secluded area to avoid the biggest crowds.

Note:

Depending on the weather and other conditions, we will adjust the experience accordingly.

Departing from Bugibba (10:30 A.M)
Set off on your sailing adventure on Europe's largest and most spacious passenger sailing catamaran. Our luxurious catamaran will take you to the best swimming and snorkeling locations Malta has to offer. From June - October experience an adult atmosphere with all passengers being 12years+. The sailing catamaran will stop at two or three prime locations for swimming and snorkeling. These locations may change daily due to prevailing weather and sea conditions, and accessibility to the site. Whichever of the below locations you go to, you will have the best day out this summer.

Stopping at Blue Lagoon (2 hours)
Comino Island has two fantastic stops for swimming and snorkeling - Blue & Crystal Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is the most famous swimming spot with its crystal clear turquoise waters, tempting those that want to cool off on a hot summers day. We moor in a secluded private area on the Blue Lagoon where the snorkeling is much more enjoyable.

Stopping at Crystal Lagoon (1 hour)
A possible destination is Crystal Lagoon. With sheer cliff drops surrounding the Crystal Lagoon, it can only be reached by sea and you won't find a better snorkeling spot on Comino Island. It's crystal clear waters are much deeper than at the Blue Lagoon which makes the area fantastic for snorkeling and swimming in and around the caves.

Stopping at Ghajn Tuffieha Bay (1 hour)
Another possible destination is the five-star sandy beaches of Ghajn Tuffieha. At Ghajn Tuffieha you will have time to swim, snorkel and have lots of water fun. Or if you prefer something more relaxing then why not laze the day away on our sunbeds or trampoline nets with a fantastic cocktail or two. - Sunbeds and trampoline nets are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Passing by Popeye Village Malta
If we go to Ghajn Tuffieha on the day of your excursion then we will stop to discover the film set of Popeye village tucked away in the charming Anchor's bay. Make sure to have your cameras ready for some unique photos.

Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel up to 7 days before the tour start time, or within 24 hours of booking as long as the booking is made more than 48 hours before the start time.

This tour requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to departure time to allow for boarding. Boarding opens 45 minutes before and closes 15 minutes before the departure time.
Is there parking available near the departure point for the boat tour?
Yes, but there is limited parking available.
Should I make advance reservations for the boat tour?
Advance reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment. Especially during the high season.

Basically a cool trip that you can actually do. It's worth getting there a little earlier than stated in order to get a berth on the upper deck of the catamaran. The view here is simply the best, there is no spray here, there is no walk-through route and there are no smells from the rubbish bin and food preparation here either. Once the space on the upper deck has been taken up, you can safely move to the lower deck every now and then, even in midsummer, to go into the shade and take photos on the lounger nets or at the bow/stern. The crew on our trip seemed a bit listless at times, which affected the continuity of staffing the bar or selecting a playlist, for example. You can get stuck in the buffet. Self-sufficiency is certainly the better alternative here. The tour was not carried out as described. Popeye village was not addressed. All in all a chilled trip with nice photos.

The catamaran cruise was quite good. The weather was also very nice, but a bit windy so we didn't manage to have all the swimming stops we wanted. The food we paid for (the bbq thing) was just good. Nothing special. An overall very nice experience but definitely not worth the 80€ per person paid.

I did the daytime catamaran trip in late October. This was great! the boat was NOT crowded, unlike many others I saw. No slides, but you could jump off the boat. The boat would dock far from the beaches, so you will swim around the boat. I thought this was nice because we avoided the crowds. although we couldn't dock in the Crystal Lagoon due to wind, I appreciate that we still got to see it. Drinks are available for purchase and are very reasonable (4€/beer).

Was a great vibe on the boat, upbeat but chilled, stopped at 3 locations to swim, can choose to jump off the boat or use stairs into the sea. There are snorkels available to hire, and you could see a lot of fish, there was also noodles and life jackets to help less confident swimmers as it is deep sea where the boat stops off. The BBQ was a plate of food, chicken, pasta, salad, a good portion (but maybe not €15 euros worth). Had an amazing time swimming in the blue lagoon, crystal lagoon and then St Paul’s bay as when we stopped at popeyes there were a lot of jellyfish and so the captain took us somewhere safer to swim. You can buy cocktails on the boat. No shoes allowed on the boat which keeps it clean, toilets were nice enough and clean enough. Music was chill house. You will enjoy this trip if you like the sea, swimming, chilled house music in the sunshine. There were literally all ages on the boat too, from early 20s to like late 60s.

The boat ride is good, the Blue Lagoon is incredible, but the boat stops far from the bathing area and you waste time walking from one side to the other. Furthermore, the time spent there is too short, we return the next day via others to stay there alone. The "barbecue" is acceptable. Another problem is that you need to arrive super early to get a good seat. I arrived 30 minutes early and they were already busy.

Highlight of our holiday!! Boat didn’t feel overcrowded (compared to others we saw) the bbq lunch was perfect and good time at stops to explore the incredible waters - along with option to borrow snorkels and floats for those who wished. Good selection of drinks available from bar on board. 👌

This was the BEST decision of an amazing trip -- it exceeded a very high bar!!! The crew was fantastic and friendly, the barbecue was delicious, the passengers were friendly, and the VIEWS were SPECTACTULAR. Seriously, I could not have had a better highlight of an outstanding trip.

Was enjoyable. We went in October and the weather was lovely. Very relaxing lying off soaking up the sun. Blue lagoon 8s amazing and recommend the pineapple cocktails. A great way to spend a day.
