Overview

We begin by cruising up the North-East Coast, via the north Comino channel to reach the island of Calypso, Gozo where you will arrive at approximately 11:30 hrs. Upon arrival at the Mgarr Harbour you will be greeted by our representative who will drive you around this charming island for approximately 2 hours. You will visit the stunning capital city and fortress, Cittadella, where you can explore the city. It is of utmost importance that you hear the driver’s instructions with pick up points and times that need to be adhered to. You are to be at the point determined a few minutes earlier to ensure that you do not miss your transport. After visiting this mythical island of Gozo, you will once again board the vessel [dep at 14:00 hrs] and cruise to the Blue Lagoon in Comino where you will disembark. The Blue Lagoon is famous for its turquoise, bluish-green crystal clear waters. Departure from Comino will be at 16:00 hrs to return to your desired destination. It is important that you are at your embarkation point at least 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Please plan on arriving at least 20 minutes prior to departure time to allow for boarding. Boarding opens 60 minutes before and closes 15 minutes before the departure time.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment. Especially during the high season.

On tourist exploitation of the blue lagoon

It was perfectly organized. On the boat, the captain provided information about everything that could be seen and there were short infos in different languages on tape. The bus tour on Gozo was well planned. In Victoria we had 2 hours. This was enough to visit the citadel and a small park and to eat an ice cream. We had 90 minutes of extensive swimming in the blue lagoon.

I am very satisfied with the trip! Everything as planned, beautiful views, great attractions - there is nothing to be discouraged by negative opinions! I didn't feel the rush that some people write about, there was enough time for everything. Friendly service - they helped me after jellyfish burn - I recommend watching out for them at the Blue Lagoon.

Very good only the bus ride in Gozo was too short for me personally, would have liked to have seen more of the island. Otherwise everything was super organized.

Mass tourism. No time to enjoy Gozo. We run, we run, we have to respect the timing. There were indeed explanations in French on the boat (nothing on the bus in Gozo) which were unfortunately drowned out by the cries of a group of Spanish tourists (about fifteen unsupervised girls). The blue lagoon was superb, but I fear that the anarchic overexploitation of the site will put it in danger…

It was a nice activity , we had 1.30h in Victoria,Gozo and 1.30 in Blue Lagoon that was really crowded. We didnt have a sit almost 2h from sliema to gozo that was really annoying. I was a bit fast all the trip. Make sure that the weather is going to be nice.

The trip was fine. Ship was good, the captain was really nice. In Gozo we had great time, but too short.
